Beyond

Our International Impact

From the sidelines of Mexico City to the pitches of London and the fields of Abu Dhabi, the 49ers Foundation is expanding what's possible for youth around the world. Through flag football, we're building confidence and teaching teamwork. Through STEAM education, we're opening doors to the future. And through the power of sport, we're strengthening communities across Mexico, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates. None of this happens alone — we're grateful to partners like United, SAP, Cisco, and more who share our commitment to lifting up the next generation, wherever they call home.

Programs

  • Dubai, U.A.E.

As the newest international market for the 49ers, the 49ers Foundation is excited to build our impact from the ground up. With the first ever coaches clinic in Dubai, and additional activations in Abu Dhabi, the 49ers Foundation is working with ADEK- Department of Education and Knowledge to create more opportunities for their students using the sport of American Football.

  • Leeds, U.K.

Leeds United and the 49ers are leading a first-of-its-kind partnership to educate and empower Leeds youth through sport. The program, Unlocking Potential, addresses barriers to sport, education, and opportunity for marginalized youth. In our first year, we’ve already impacted over 1,200 Leeds children.

  • Mexico City, MX

Over the past three years, the 49ers have played two international games in Mexico and supported five unique activations for young people. With a strong, long-standing fanbase in Mexico, we are eager to support the growth of Flag across the country and drive meaningful participation with STEAM concepts.
