49ERS FOUNDATION
2025/2026 ANNUAL REPORT
A Letter From Our Leaders
Dear Faithful,
For more than 35 years, the 49ers Foundation has remained committed to educating and empowering Bay Area youth and beyond. As we look back on the accomplishments from the past year, we are proud to share how the power of football and community came together in ways that will be felt for generations to come.
Super Bowl LX brought the world's biggest stage to the Bay Area, and with it, a historic opportunity to invest in our community. The 49ers Foundation, in partnership with the NFL Foundation and the Bay Area Host Committee Foundation, contributed $8.2 million in community grants, including our largest single contribution in 49ers Foundation history – a $3.7 million investment to revitalize Townsend Field at Buchser Middle School in Santa Clara. This field will serve students and the surrounding community as a testament to a legacy that extends far beyond a single game.
Through our direct service programs, 49ers EDU presented by ASML and 49ers PREP presented by U.S. Bank, we've seen firsthand how football can break down barriers, inspire confidence, and open doors to new opportunities. Whether it's introducing STEAM learning inside our classrooms at Levi's® Stadium, leveling the playing field for girls' flag football, or hosting free community-based programs for students around the globe, we are investing in the next generation so they can tackle what's possible on and off the field. Since 1991, the 49ers Foundation has invested over $80 million back into historically disadvantaged communities, and our reach now extends to the United Kingdom, Mexico, and the United Arab Emirates, united by a shared belief in the power of free access to sports and educational resources to shape lives.
This year's Impact Report is about more than just numbers. Behind every metric is a story of determination, creativity, and growth made possible through our direct service programs, charitable partners, and your support. These stories reflect the power of teamwork among our staff, players, coaches, alumni, Board of Directors, corporate partners, and, most importantly, you, the Faithful.
Thank you for joining us on this journey. Together, we will continue to build a stronger Bay Area and extend our impact beyond, toward a future where every young person has the tools, resources, and belief to achieve their dreams.
With gratitude and determination, thank you for remaining Faithful to the Next Generation.
